1. About This Website

This site is owned and operated by Angela E Kerr, an artist based in Nottingham, UK. The website showcases examples of my artwork and offers information on commissioning pet portraits and purchasing prints.

2. Copyright and Use of Content

All images, text and artwork on this website are the property of Angela E Kerr unless otherwise stated. They may not be copied, reproduced, or used in any way without prior written permission.

Commissioned artwork remains my intellectual property, but you are welcome to share photos of your commissioned piece for personal use (e.g. on social media). Please credit me where possible.

3. Commissions and Custom Work

By commissioning a portrait, you are entering into a personal agreement between yourself and Angela E Kerr.
A 50% deposit is required before work begins, with the balance due prior to dispatch.
Final pricing will be agreed based on the size, medium, and number of animals included.

Once the artwork is complete, I will send a photo for your approval. Minor amendments may be possible at this stage, but major changes may incur an additional charge.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Due to the bespoke nature of the work, refunds cannot be given once the portrait has begun.
If you cancel before I’ve started, your deposit will be refunded in full.

5. Delivery

Finished artwork will be posted once final payment is received. You’ll be sent tracking information where applicable.
Delivery times may vary depending on location, size and complexity of the piece.

6. Varnishing and Framing

All charcoal drawings are finished with a fixative spray.
Oil paintings are finished with a retouch varnish. I will contact you approximately six months after completion to discuss applying a final varnish, if desired.
Framing is available on request at an additional cost.

7. Privacy

Any personal information you provide (e.g. name, contact details, reference photos) will be handled securely and only used in relation to your commission. I will never share your data without your permission.

8. Social Media and Portfolio Use

Unless requested otherwise, I may share photos of your completed portrait on my website and social media platforms as part of my portfolio.
If you’d prefer your artwork not to be shared, just let me know at the time of ordering.
